Monthly GP Update: April 2026
Apr 2, 2026
April is just around the corner, and spring is hopefully here to stay.
While activity in the Government Pricing (GP) world seems to have slowed slightly, there are still several important upcoming deadlines and items to keep on your radar:
Quarterly Calculations
Most of the March and Q1 2026 calculations are due April 30, including AMP, BP, CPPDs, Nominal Sales, ASP, FSS Sales, and the IFF payment while Quarterly NFAMP is due May 14.
New ASP Reporting Requirements
CMS is hosting a webinar on April 14 to review system updates (Register for the webinar here).
If you need the guides or templates that were released last year, we’re happy to share them so just let us know.
340B/PHS Pricing
Due to wholesalers/distributors June 15
Due to HRSA June 29
Medicaid Rebates
Most of your Q4 2025 invoices should now be received
Supplemental rebate payments are typically due mid-April
Q1 2026 invoices will begin arriving early to mid-May
As always, upcoming GP deadlines, conferences, and key activities are available on our handy-dandy online calendar. We’re also happy to help if you need clarification on timing or requirements.
Looking Ahead (Not Urgent, But Important)
The FDA’s recent Final Rule will require all NDCs to transition to a universal 12-digit format beginning in March 2033, with a transition period extending through 2036 to allow manufacturers to work through inventory with the old 10- or 11-digit format. While that may feel far off, early awareness and planning will be important, particularly for systems, contracts, and inventory management. (Hard to believe the Affordable Care Act is already 16 years old, and the AMP Final Rule is now 10!)
We believe strongly in the value of ongoing education and connecting with GP colleagues from other organizations. Our very own, Lisa Clayton, is speaking at Informa Connect’s Pricing and Contracting Summit! You can find out more here and use code 26SPKR10 to save 10%. This is a great conference covering Medicaid, Government Pricing, State Price Transparency, and Commercial Contracts.
We’re always happy to connect, whether you’re reviewing methodologies, preparing for an audit, launching a new product, or evaluating distribution strategy. Government Pricing is what we love and what we do.
