Monthly GP Update: September 2025
Sep 3, 2025
We hope your summer has been filled with lots of sunshine and great memories. As we shift into September, your Q2 Medicaid invoices should have started coming in. Here are a few other upcoming GP deadlines and activities of note:
August AMP is due Tuesday, September 30th.
Payment for the Medicare Manufacturer Discount Program Part D rebates via MPP is due Thursday, October 9th. (Remember, the penalty for late payment is 25 percent of the rebate amount so make sure you get this payment submitted on time.)
Your Q4 2025 PHS/340B pricing, derived from your Q2 2025 calculations, should be submitted to wholesalers/distributors by September 15th.
It’s not just pumpkin spice season, it’s also about to be Public Law season, the annual contract renewal process for the FSS. You can expect to receive your workbook from the VA around October 15 so you may want to start preparing as October seems to be the busiest month for GP.
If you’re interested in learning more about Government Pricing, check out IIR’s Medicaid Drug Rebate Program Summit, September 15 – 17. Use discount code 25PRICINGGRP10 to receive 10% off your registration fee. Our own Lisa Clayton will be speaking at this event on the current “hot topics” in GP, and The Pricing Group is sponsoring a “relaxation zone,” so stop by and check it out.
If those dates don’t work, check out ACI’s Rx Drug Pricing and Rebate Fundamentals, a remote option spread out across 4 weeks.
We say it all the time because it’s true: we LOVE Government Pricing, so if you have any questions or would like to discuss any new products or strategies, let us know. It’s what we do!
