The Pricing Group – Monthly GP Update: June 2026

Monthly GP Update: June 2026

As we move into June, the Government Pricing calendar enters one of its traditionally quieter stretches, though "quiet" is relative in today's regulatory environment.

By now, your April calculations should be submitted and certified, and Medicaid invoice activity is likely well underway.

Key June deadlines to keep on your radar:

  • June 8 - Medicare Part D Payments

  • June 15 - 340B/PHS Pricing Updates - Due to wholesalers and distributors

  • June 30 - May Monthly AMP

Note: Deadlines vary by product portfolio

With Q2 approaching, now is the time to prepare for updated ASP reporting requirements - postponed from Q1 and now taking effect with the Q2 ASP submission due July 30. Manufacturers must now submit Reasonable Assumptions and supporting documentation related to Bona Fide Service Fees to CMS. Register for the webinar hosted by CMS on July 7 to review the system updates and reporting process. If you need the guides or templates released last year, we're happy to share them - just let us know. Preparing now can help avoid last-minute challenges and ensure all documentation is complete ahead of the Q2 filing deadline.

Last month at Informa Connect's Life Sciences Pricing & Contracting USA conference, The Pricing Group's own Lisa Clayton took the stage with a presentation that clearly struck a chord with many attendees: "Regulatory Whiplash: How to Track and Operationalize the Ever-Changing Environment in Government Pricing." The session addressed one of the most persistent pain points in our industry: keeping up with regulatory change is hard enough — but turning those changes into workable internal processes is often even harder. Lisa outlined practical frameworks for monitoring, interpreting, and implementing regulatory developments in a way that positions organizations to get ahead of change rather than simply react to it.

The key takeaway? Compliance is the floor, not the ceiling. The strongest Government Pricing programs are built on a foundation of operational discipline, supported by robust documentation, thoughtful decision-making, and a clear understanding of how upstream changes can create downstream impacts across an organization.

If you'd like to discuss any Government Pricing challenges, explore the potential impact of recent or emerging regulatory developments, or learn more about how The Pricing Group supports manufacturers in this increasingly complex environment, we'd welcome the opportunity to connect.
